In the Ortega valve, the bottom port is always open and the handle controls the flow of water in the other 2 ports.
Each side port can be adjusted from On to Off or anywhere between these two settings.
The valve is constructed of very rugged CPVC.
This valve is designed for use with either 2" pipe glued inside the socket or 2-1/2" pipe. For 2-1/2" pipe use, a 2-1/2" fitting will glue on the outside of the socket.
