The motor sits on the rear support of the base, with the flange on the front side of the 2 holes.
The 1-1/2" cap screws go through the the motor flange and through the holes in the base.
These screw into the brass inserts on the seal plate to attach the motor.
The 1" cap screws are use to attach the motor through the top 2 holes in the motor flange to the seal plate.
